The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

Join us for Aldrich After Hours in the galleries and Sculpture Garden to celebrate artist Hangama Amiri and the release of her first museum publication on occasion of her exhibition, Hangama Amiri: An Homage to Home. Amiri will be joined by Chief Curator Amy Smith- Stewart in a conversation about the exhibition, which draws from Amiri’s memories of her homeland in Afghanistan and her diasporic experience as a refugee in Canada, featuring more than a dozen new textile art works and a neon sculpture.
