Join us for Aldrich After Hours and enjoy drinks and special programming in the Museum’s galleries. Specialty cocktails inspired by the current exhibitions, as well as beer and wine, will be available for purchase. Stay for music, art activities in The Studio, and more!
Led by Associate Curator Eduardo Andres Alfonso, this walking tour through TriBeCA, Chinatown, and the Lower East Side will introduce patrons to five galleries that all play an important part in fostering young talent and help usher artists into the market at pivotal moments in their careers.
We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra to present the RSO Quartet for a performance inspired by current exhibition, Layo Bright: Dawn and Dusk. The quartet features the four principal string players of the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra, violinists Jorge Avilia and Mialtin Zhezha, violist Suzanne Corey-Sahlin, and cellist Nick Hardie.
Join Albers Foundation Education Director Fritz Horstman for a hands-on workshop exploring some of the topics in his new book Interacting with Color: A Practical Guide to Josef Albers's Color Experiments. Using Color-aid paper, participants will engage with color relativity, the illusion of transparency, and other color phenomena featured in Josef Albers's seminal Interaction of Color, to which Horstman's book is a companion.
Members and friends, please join us to celebrate the reopening of our Sculpture Garden and explore A Garden of Promise and Dissent and Martha Diamond: Deep Time before the exhibitions open to the public.
We invite the community to visit the Museum for FREE to celebrate the grand reopening of The Aldrich’s Sculpture Garden.
