This program is presented for people with early-stage dementia and their care-partners
Join us and the Alzheimer’s Association, Connecticut Chapter virtually as we explore our featured contemporary artists while offering the opportunity to connect with others who are also living in the beginning stage of dementia and their care partners. Contemporary Connections provides a forum for dialogue through looking at art. We highlight themes, artists, and exhibitions during an interactive program in the museum's galleries. Medical researchers have found that people with early-to-mid-stage dementia are positively impacted by the therapeutic effects of viewing and discussing art.
All interested applicants must go through a pre-screening process. For more information and to RSVP, contact Tina Hogan at thogan@alz.org.
