Free for $250+ Members

Join Executive Director Cybele Maylone and artists José Parlá and Claudia Hilda for an exclusive tour of the artists’ studio in Pound Ridge, NY. José Parlá, a critically acclaimed multidisciplinary artist, works across painting, large-scale murals, photography, video, and sculpture. Having emerged from Miami’s underground art scene in the 1980s, his work is currently on view in a solo exhibition at the Pérez Art Museum and in a four person show at the Brooklyn Museum. Claudia Hilda, a Cuban-born, New York-based choreographer and performance artist, explores themes of identity, ancestry, and feminism through multidisciplinary works that blend choreography and visual installations, centering the body as a storyteller.

Space is limited, please RSVP to Holly Hart at events@thealdrich.org by Monday, March 3. Arrival instructions will be provided to confirmed guests.
