A River Half Empty: Artists Engage Connecticut’s Environment

Throughout the history of art, artists have often engaged nature as subject and thereby shaped the way we understand our relationship to the world around us. Through the works of art in A River Half Empty, the artists move us to consider beauty, resources, power, neglect, even nostalgia and regret.

Artists: Mara Adamitz Scrupe, Rachel Berwick, Adam Frelin, Lisa Kereszi, Frank Noelker, Sven Påhlsson, Claudia Schmacke, Michelle Segre, Peter Waite
