The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

Anselm Kiefer’s thirty Velimir Chlebnikov paintings are housed in a corrugated metal pavilion he designed. Outside, it resembles a boat shed; inside the massive, eighteen-foot-high doors, daylight streams through a skylight onto two long walls each showing fifteen large paintings, three rows high, five columns wide.
