The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

Arakawa is an artist of international renown; and for some strange reason, although he has had many exhibitions in European museums, important exhibitions of his work in United States museums have been long overdue. His art deals with space and time and the philosophical meaning of the term “blank.” His paintings require concentrated study on the part of the viewer to reveal their beauty in the framework of his concept.
