In this animation, Charles White uses dark humor to draw attention to contemporary culture and consumption-based identity. His characters are teenagers being shaped for adulthood. Emphasizing the teenagers’ quest for identity, White makes evident the limited and contradictory resources available to young adults in the underlying value system of the mass-media environment.
