As a student of neuroscience and cognitive psychology, Elizabeth Demaray started making art almost by accident, as a break from her rigid academic course load at university. Initially drawn to ceramics, she quickly discovered that her experiences in the studio were echoing some of the concepts she had been pursing in brain studies, particularly ideas about memory and non-logical thought.
