It seems we have a fascination with all things lilliputian. While we might readily associate small-scale environments with childhood, scale models allow people of any age to imagine a world, and a physical perspective, different from their own. The thirteen artists in Model World distinguish themselves by the disparate worlds they portray, the elaborate sculptural forms that result, and the distinct conceptual aims they pursue.
