Olafur Eliasson: New Work

Olafur Eliasson knows wonder. He was raised in Iceland, a country that has more than its fair share of awe-inspiring sights. It’s easy to understand why so many artists, especially photographers, have been inspired by Iceland’s beauty. Yet Eliasson’s aim, unlike artists whose intention is to highlight nature’s grace, is to draw attention to the way we see the world around us. The landscape for him is a means to examine both the complexity of human vision and the source of awe.
