Prospectus: Art in the Seventies

In every decade, several art ideas develop as a basis or starting point for a recognizable style. The successful artist is the one who creates a uniqueness within the framework of this style. Many other contemporary artists function independently of any schools, pursuing an individual dream from within. From there, a vision emerges which marks the work as unmistakably his own. Prospectus presents both artists of a specific school and other artists with personal styles uniquely their own, each making his or her contribution to the art of today.

Artists: Roy Lichtenstein, Louise Nevelson, Blackwell, Robert Rauschenberg, Mary Bauermeister, James Havard
