The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

Robert Lazzarini deals with the issue of perception. His works in and of themselves are dealing with issues of opticality and dislocation. This exhibition was a way to address his interest in the figure/ground relationships and also further pursue issues of dislocation. Dislocation, not only between the object and its ground, but of the perceptions that the viewer is going to have in front of the object.
