The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

Although Robert Wilson is better known as a performance artist, his stage settings and drawings of them have also been highly acclaimed. He relies on visual imagers to convey the message of his performance works. This exhibition presents 20 drawings and sketches of stage settings. These works present another dimension of the myriad languages of Robert Wilson, they reconfirm his belief in the union of the arts.
