Sculpture on the Wall

The wall sculpture in this exhibition affirms the objecthood of sculpture. What we see are rich, evocative surfaces and textures, metaphors that are more organic, and scale that is more intimate. These are in direct contrast to the prevailing large-scale, and environmental sculptural concerns. For all their diversities in materials, methods, and sources, the artists presented here spring from the midst of the “new object” generation.
